Aghalee Parish retain records of baptisms, marriages and burials from 1811 until the present day.
Our volunteers will be happy to carry out a search of the parish records for you, or to accommodate a visit by researchers by arrangement of a suitable time.
To enable a search to be carried out, please provide us with details of the name(s) to be searched for and an approximate date, stating whether you are searching for baptism, marriage or burial records; we would normally search the registers across a 10-20 year period of the date suggested.
To arrange a visit, please contact us using the details below.
The following scale of fees applies to register searches, as approved by the Church of Ireland:
Clergy may only issue a certified copy for a marriage which took place on or before 31st December 2003; certified copies of marriages since 1st January 2004 may only be obtained from the local Marriage Registrar.
Please note - The following records are also available at the Public Records Office (PRONI):
Baptisms 1811-1922; Marriages 1811-1905; Burials 1811-1916.
